Subject : Diamond: call for proposals for AP24 now open
Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that the call for proposals for AP24 (September 2018 – April 2019) is now open. The deadline for this call is 17:00 on Wednesday 4th April. Please note that this is in working hours and the call will be closed at this time. A table of instrument access is given below.

Please do discuss your planned work with our instrument scientists and submit all proposals to UAS (uas.diamond.ac.uk). In addition, please ensure that any outstanding reports are submitted and publications are in our database as the peer review panel will take these into consideration during the review.

Operational Updates:

Diamond continues to collect ORCID IDs as part of the registration details. This is mandatory for all Principal Investigators submitting a proposal and optional for all other users of Diamond. Please include your ORCID ID as soon as possible. To find out more visit the ORCID website (orcid.org).
Diamond has a licence to use ptychography for users’ X-ray experiments. For further information, X-ray users can click here and users of Diamond’s ePSIC facility can click here.
Having problems accessing data you collected at Diamond? Please click here to find out about retrieving your data.
If you are changing organisation, or your contact details are incorrect in UAS, please do log in and update your record – you can do this at any time by clicking ‘Update Registration Details’ on the home page of UAS. This really helps maintain the quality of data in UAS, allowing us to contact the right people at the right time. You only need to register with UAS once and update your details, rather than creating a new record whenever you move.
We continue to update our user policies. Please check our user webpages for the latest Diamond policies.
