One of the best tools to evaluate the effects of temperature, pressure, and time on-stream for improving process economics is the Micromeritics Benchtop Flow Reactor and Pilot Plant.
One reason is our strong focus on built-in safety measures, designed by experts, providing operators with a peace of mind without the need for home-built safeguards.
The Flow Reactors (FR) from Micromeritics include three levels of alarms and notifications for the reactor system: hardware, firmware, and software. Our hardware alarms are independent from software to provide uninterrupted communication integrity. Firmware alarms are programmable to specific customer lab requirements to protect components. Software alarms can be configured to your unique application requirements.
Additional safety features include redundant thermocouples for high temperature alarms along with an isolated safety system providing uninterrupted communication integrity. Automatic shut-off valves and optional gas detectors enable automatic shutdown procedures in critical safety scenarios which actively cool and ventilate the process zone to safe conditions.
