Hi Guy,

Thanks for your message.

I will prepare a formal proposal so you can see all the detail concerning supply of our N-Visage Scanner.
We will need to apply for an export licence as our instruments are considered dual use.
The end user, which I assume will be NRCN, will need to complete an End User Undertaking.
I have attached a blank form so you can see the declaration. We will complete all the detail for the instrument.

Createc’s analytical software, N-Visage Fusion, is supplied on a licence basis.
The initial purchase price is UK£15,000, including all training.
The annual licence including software updates and techncial support is UK£8,500.
Therefore year one price is UK£23.500 and UK£8,500 for each subsequent year.

Hi Neil,
Thank you for your answer.

I think I have all the data needed right now.
If everything will match I will ask our purchasing department to contact you.
We are interesting in buying both scanner and 3d software.
You wrote earlier that the scanner is about 150k. What would be the software price?

Thank you,
Guy

Hi Guy,

The LiDAR minimum distance is configurable in the params but is set to 60cm as a default.

Hi Guy,

Thanks for your message and apologies for the delay in responding.

The N-Visage Scanner has a motorised base and the top section is revolved through 360 degrees to make a scan.
The process takes about 2 hours and the Scanner needs to remain in the same place for the scan. During this revolution the LiDAR will have covered all of the room in range including the ceiling. There will be a small ‘shadow' from the instrument on the floor.

In this way you can survey wall, ceiling and floor while the Scanner is vertical. The instrument then only needs to be lowered while the robot is moving. This is the system used in the video from Japan I mentioned in an earlier email - https://vimeo.com/537183461

I hope this answers your question. I am waiting for a response from my technical colleague on the minimum distance for the LiDAR.

Would you like to arrange a call so we can discuss your application in more detail?

Neil

Hi Neil,
I've been working on a concept to integrate N-Visage Scanner in our robot.
I want to adopt the idea of having it both horizontal and vertical.
However, we want to be able to scan the roof (horizontal) of the room as well as the rest of the room (vertical).
Please see attached our concept.
Do you see any problem with that? any installation consideration?
Also, what is the minimum range of the laser mapping (saw only the the max range)?

Thank you,

Guy Zaidner

Thank you Neil,
That will be all I need for now.
I will forward this to my colleagues.

Thank you

Hello Guy,

Thank you for your message.

I have attached a product and technical sheets for our N-Visage Scanner Gammer Imaging System

To answer your specific questions:

1. Does it have Wireless? If so, can it be supplied with wired connection only?
The control electronics are designed so that wireless communications could be added, but this function is not available as standard.

2. What are the sensor performances?
Please see the data sheet

3. Can we activate programs offline?
Could you clarify this question please? If you mean will the N-Visage Scanner software run without being connected to the internet, then the answer is yes.

The N-Visage Scanner has been deployed on ground robots in a number of applications.
Usually, the instrument is hinged down after a scan for easier navigation of the robot.
Here is a video of a project by the Chiba Institute of Technology in Japan using the Scanner at Fukushima - https://vimeo.com/537183461

The output from the N-Visage Scanner is a panoramic image with a gamma overlay like the image below:

<image002.png>

The output from multiple scans can be combined in our software N-Visage Fusion (product sheet attached)
It is then possible to estimate the source terms of the radiation on the surface of the 3D point cloud model produced by the Scanner.

Here is a video showing the point cloud model and then the source terms and finally a dose plane can be generated in the environment - https://vimeo.com/463030764

The cost for an N-Visage Scanner is UK£150,000.
N-Visage Fusion is available on a licence or we can provide the modelling as a service.

Please let me know if you require any further information.

Neil

Hello again.
Correction, I guess I need the Gamma Imager instead of Recon.

Hello Neil,
My name is Guy Z, from the NRCN.
Last month I participated in DigiDecom 21 and saw Createc talk about your products.
I found it interesting and useful for me, and I have few questions regarding the products.
I will mention that I intend to integrate the Recon on a mobile robot. Please advise the following:

 1. Does it have Wireless? If so, can it be supplied with wired connection only?
2. What are the sensor performances?
3. Can we activate programs offline?
I would be glad to have more videos and info of how the output looks like regarding the ALARA planning etc..
Also, any further technical\manuals info would be great.
Last, I would like to have an estimation of how much it will cost before we get an official quote.

Thank you,
Guy
