Furthermore, please find the revised estimated costs for preparing and filing a US Utility Patent Application titled "SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DIRECTIONAL DETECTION OF RADIATION", for which the filing deadline is 24 February 2022.

This Utility Patent Application will claim priority of US Provisional Patent Application No. 63/152,860 filed on 24 February 2021 (Ehrlich Ref.: 85648; TRDF Ref.: 2020121-00).

The cost estimate – 33.3% - is ~ILS 9,070 (not including VAT where applicable).  

The above estimate includes:

·        ~ILS 5,994.- Attorney drafting fees;

·        ~ILS 1,232.- Services for preparing and filing the Application;

·        ~ILS 476.- Services for preparing and filing one recordal of Assignment;

·        ~ILS 30.- Miscellaneous Expenses (e.g., faxes, copies, bank charges);

·        ~ILS 860.- Official Fees;

·        ~ILS 476.- Local Agent fee.

The estimated fee for drafting the patent application is based on the disclosure you have provided us through today. Any subsequent material changes or additions that you may provide us may result in additional drafting fees which cannot be estimated at this time. The final charges for filing the application will be known to us once the application is filed, at which time we will issue a final debit note of the balance of the charges, if required.

The above quote is based on Small Business Entity (SBE) Fees (i.e., that all concerns having any rights to this invention, including concerns controlling or controlled by concerns having any rights to the invention, together employ fewer than 500 persons). If this application does not enjoy SBE status, please inform us immediately and we will reissue the cost estimate accordingly.

Dear Romelia,

As it is not mandatory to file a US utility application by 14 June 2021, we will decide how we intend to proceed later this year. The provisional application was filed in grace on 24/02/2021, therefore we will make a final decision in November/December 2021.
