Thanks, Eyal, Guy, and Daniela

Yes, I think this sounds like a good plan and timeline. If we postpone to mid-May, we may attract more student attendance. Now that we bought ourselves some breathing room, I think we can use the time to write the white papers (thanks for the suggestion)  for each topic and plan the meeting in the US by the end of November. In the slides we put together for IAEC and NNSA this is the topics and names we listed.

Best,

Frank

Dear all,

Following Frank's mail, we discussed the option of postponing the first phase (1st week) of the workshop/school.

We understand the time constraints and even for us as hosts, it is somewhat tight.

However, in order to have the 2nd phase (in the States) during FY 2023, we suggest having the week in IL around mid May and the week in the US by the end of November.

If we agree on that, we should try to come up with white papers on the research topics, suggested at the JSC,

and to start with those for which we know the PI's.

How does it sound?

Eyal

Dear Eyal, Guy, Thomas, and John

One item I wanted to bring up with the leadership team (you)  is the short deadline we are on. We got the green light in December, and we have been frantically pulling this together with the holidays in between. I am worried that we are asking for a big commitment from speakers (1-hour talks+ problems) with two months to go..  In addition, we have to select students. Students from Israel may not be difficult to get but US students might be difficult. Should we continue to push for the March date, or should we postpone to the early fall?

I will be sending out a new program for everyone to view and discuss on Tuesday.

Thoughts??

Frank
