Dear Danas,
Thanks for taking the lead in organizing the 1st meeting, which I hope will result in scientific collaboration.
The proposed agenda, though looks fine, requires some preparations on our side.
In addition, due to external activities, Dr. Berkovits and myself are not available on the dates proposed (Mon. the 21st, Tue the 22nd).
Any chance to set new time ?
I will try to send some options

Dear Dr. Eyal Yahel (NRCN) and Dr. Dan Berkovits (SNRC),
It was my pleasure to have some exchange with you both on possible areas of cooperation, also with presence of high officials from the IAEA and Israel.
I take the opportunity to introduce to you also our new Laboratory Head Ms Kalliopi Kanaki (in copy), who has joined us on the 1st of February. FYI, we have just released our Newsletter No 3 of the Laboratory, which can be accessed from: https://www.iaea.org/publications/search/type/nuclear-science-and-instrumentation-newsletter (together with the very 1st two editions in 2021).
We would like to propose the very 1st technical session between our teams either on 21 (Monday) or 22 (Tuesday) February in the morning from 10h00 to 13h00. I think we might need ~2h connection in order to cover the following tentative agenda, which is of course open for your suggestions.
· Opening by Ms M. Denecke DIR/NAPC IAEA and Israel representative (TBD), ~10min
· Ionizing radiation facilities and associated instrumentation R&D at NRCN, ~20 min; speaker TBD
· Ionizing radiation facilities and associated instrumentation R&D at SNRC, ~20 min; speaker TBD
· Research and Applications with Accelerators and Neutron Sources by Physics Section; Mr D. Ridikas, SH-Physics, ~10 min
· Projects and activities on nuclear instrumentation by Nuclear Science and Instrumentation Laboratory at SEIB; Ms K. Kanaki, LH-NSIL/Physics, ~20min
· Discussion on joint interests and possible areas of cooperation, ~30min
Once we agree on time and agenda/speakers, I will share the webex invite afterwards.
Thanks in advance for your reply and hope you are all well,
Danas

Dear colleagues,
Thank you very much for the highly productive VC we had last week, and for putting things in motion!
As agreed I’m attaching the emails of the relevant people from our side.
We suggest that Ms. Melissa Denecke directly contact Dr. Yahel & Dr. Berkovits to schedule the next talk for further developing the ideas that started to emerge in our VC:
1. Dr. Eyal Yahel (NRCN) - eyaly@nrcn.gov.il
2. Dr. Dan Berkovits (SNRC) - berkova@soreq.gov.il
Many Thanks!
wishing you all the best of health,
Dotan
