Dear Dr. Offer,
We hope you are safe and sound during these difficult and crazy times
with COVID-19.
I am writing to inquire whether you have received the invitation letter
below and whether had time to consider contributing a paper to this
Special Issue “Smart Non-invasive Sensor Technologies for Healthcare and
Biomedical Applications”
(
https://www.mdpi.com/journal/molecules/special_issues/sensor_bio).
(1) This Special Issue will focus on the state-of-the-art in
non-invasive technologies for healthcare and biomedical applications and
also the need for such sensors in someone’s life.
(2) Currently, the median time from submission to first decision in
/Molecules/ is 13 days. The median time from submission to final
publication is less than 35 days, which is attributed to the rapid
production processing of the papers upon acceptance of the manuscript.
(3) The submission deadline is *31 August 2020*. You may send your
manuscript now or up until the deadline, as papers will be published on
an ongoing basis after being processed. For more details about the
submission process, please see:
http://www.mdpi.com/journal/molecules/instructions.
(4) /Molecules/ is fully open access. Open access (unlimited and free
access by readers) increases publicity and promotes more frequent
citations, as indicated by several studies. During recent years it has
been developing to a leading international, peer-reviewed open access
journal of chemistry sciences, with a 5-Year Impact Factor of 3.380.
Open access is supported by the authors and their institutes and an
Article Processing Charge (APC) of 2000 CHF applies to accepted papers.
You may be entitled to a discount if you have previously received a
discount code.
*Important Note*: In 2020, we are celebrating the 25th anniversary of
our journal Molecules. To mark this important milestone, a 10% discount
for authors who submit before 30 June 2020.
(5) Moreover, we want to share with you that review articles are also
welcome if you are interested in preparing a *review* article. Our
in-house editorial editors are able to handle all works without any delay.
We would very much appreciate hearing from you *within one week* as to
whether you would like to submit a paper, so that we can arrange the
whole project. We sincerely hope this invitation will receive your
favorable consideration.
We will be grateful, please inform us about Your positive or negative
decision!
Many thanks and warm personal regards,
Emity Wang
